about me

Born and raised in Atlanta, I graduated in 2025 from Stanford University, where I majored in Biology, minored in Art Practice, and completed a capstone program in science communication. I am now pursuing a Ph.D. for a career in animal biology, while continuing to cultivate an artistic practice. I also work as a web designer, including building two websites for Stanford Comparative Medicine (Beyond3Rs, Mouse Ethogram). Along with researching and making art, I like to play guitar, cook and bake, knit and crochet, and be in nature.

artist statement

my present artistic focus is the active, ever-changing nature of living matter. i am fascinated by the intricacy and fragility of tissue, the repetition of patterns across scales, and the constant churning and cycling of fluid that has powered all life to ever exist. as i pursue a research career focusing on zoology, evolution, and comparative imaging, i have found new meaning by channeling my scientific curiosities into visual explorations of biological complexity.
